Belinda
Founder and Idea Guru
Belinda is a Magic: The Gathering enthusiast whose journey with the game began in the early to mid-1990s during the game's formative years. After taking a hiatus when entering the workforce in the mid-90s, Belinda reignited her passion for MTG when her sons were old enough to play, creating a meaningful way to bond with family through strategic gameplay.
As the visionary founder of Arcane Nexus, Belinda brings decades of MTG experience to the table. Her brainchild encompasses a multi-faceted approach to the MTG community: combining an informative podcast, exciting pack openings, and a specialized shop. One of her proudest innovations is the custom deck-building service, where she helps players craft personalized decks tailored to their playstyles and preferences.
Gaming Style & Interests
When slinging spells herself, Belinda gravitates toward Simic decks, appreciating the creative synergies between blue and green mana. While Commander is her format of choice for its depth and social aspects, she also enjoys the occasional Standard match when time is limited.
Beyond Magic: The Gathering, Belinda's gaming interests extend to Dungeons & Dragons—another wonderful activity she shares with her sons—as well as a variety of other board games. Her gaming passion also extends to the digital realm, where she enjoys titles on both PC and PlayStation 5.
